August 15 - November 15 -- Fall Foliage in the Smokies
The notion that peak color season of Fall in Great Smoky Mountains National Park happens in mid-October is a
misconception. The marvelous colors of autumn actually light up the Smokies for seven weeks or more as the colors move
down the mountainsides from the highest elevations to the foothills.
September 1 - October 29 -- Old Fashioned Wagon Rides
Departure is from traffic light #6 at Mountain Mall from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, leaving approximately
every 45 minutes.
September 18 - October 31 -- Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival
Fall decorations, old fashioned hayrides, events, entertainment, and local craft exhibits.
October 8 - October 25 -- Gatlinburg
Craftsmen's Fair
More than 200 booths. Artists demonstrating on site, selling art. Live music. Held at the Gatlinburg Convention Center.

The City of Gatlinburg magically lights up the winter nights with millions of spectacular lights and lighted displays
from November through February.
November 4 -- Winter Magic Kickoff & Chili Cookoff
The City of Gatlinburg kicks off Gatlinburg Winter Magic from 5 to 8 p.m. on the Downtown Parkway with over three
million lights. Enjoy live entertainment, sample chili recipes from local restaurants and businesses.
November 4 - January 30 -- Trolley Ride of Lights
Enjoy a guided trolley ride of the spectacular Gatlinburg Winter Magic lighting displays.
November 11 -- Veteran's Day Celebration
Join Gatlinburg in saluting America's veterans. Musical tribute on Ripley's Aquarium Plaza.

March 13 -- Holly and Shamrock Parade
- St. Nicholas St. Patrick
St. Nicholas & St. Patrick – Together At Last! Everybody had so much fun the first time, they’re going to do it again as
these two Saints will meet and march together in the second annual Holly & Shamrock Parade on the downtown Parkway.
Gatlinburg puts on quite a parade so plan now to enjoy a veritable explosion of red and green with hundreds of Santas,
Mrs. Clauses, elves, reindeer and even an All-Santa Band.
March 13 - March 16 -- Celebrate Santa
Santa Claus is coming to Gatlinburg! And Mrs. Claus, and the reindeer, too. It's the biggest convention of jolly old
elves you can imagine as the Jolly Old Elf and his cohorts gather at the Convention Center for their 2010 convention,
trade show and gala. Elves. Real-bearded and designer-bearded Santas and even those who have never donned the red suit
(but think they might like to) will be in attendance.
