You may obtain your license anywhere in the state or, for convenience, at the county courthouse in Sevierville or the satellite office in Gatlinburg.

There is no waiting period for a license, and no blood test or physical required.  The only requirement is that both parties must be over the age of 18.  Proof of identification must be shown, and the licensing fee of $36 must be paid in cash.
